Demonstration highlights ability to keep untethered sUAS in flight indefinitely
PASADENA, Calif., February 10, 2025 – GuRu Wireless, Inc., the company making adaptive, long-range wireless energy transfer possible, announces its invitation and participation in this week’s Army Aviation Unmanned Aircraft Systems & Launched Effects Industry Day at Fort Novosel, Alabama. During the invitation-only event, GuRu Wireless will demonstrate its capabilities that enable the first of its kind persistent intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR).
The demo highlights the ability of GuRu Wireless’ technology to keep a small unmanned aerial system (sUAS) in the air indefinitely, eliminating the need for a drone to land for battery change-outs or charging. The solution is enabled by the company’s scalable, fully synchronous wireless power transfer technology platform operating at 24GHz.
