Matt Grob is chief technology officer of XCOM Labs, which develops innovative wireless technologies. Matt previously spent over 26 years at Qualcomm in technology and engineering leadership roles. He served as Qualcomm’s EVP and CTO from 2011 to 2017, overseeing R&D and managing a global team of 2,200 employees across various divisions worldwide, and later as EVP/Technology.
Mr. Grob holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Bradley University and a M.S. in electrical engineering from Stanford University. He is a trustee of the Fleet Science Center in San Diego, and a volunteer for over a decade at FIRST, the robotics and education organization inspiring future leaders in science and technology.
Kaushik Sengupta is currently an Associate Professor and the Director of the Graduate Studies in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Princeton University. He received the B.Tech. in electronics and electrical communication engineering from IIT Kharagpur, India, in 2007, and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Caltech, Pasadena in 2012. He received the Bell Labs Prize and the ONR Young Investigator Program Award 2017, the DARPA Young Faculty Award in 2018, the Young Alumni Achievement Award from IIT Kharagpur in 2019, and the Outstanding Young Engineer Award from the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques society in 2021. His interests are in anything wireless from delivering power to sensing and communication.
